This year’s Cherry Blossom Festival includes 26 blossom sculptures placed around DC, with a few just over the border in locations in Virginia and Maryland.
A map can be found here. As of this writing, many of these chair sculptures (you can sit in them) have already been placed in different neighborhoods. They are meant to stay until May 31st.
As we did with the 51 Murals for DC Statehood, let’s collect them all! In photos of course. Although there are fewer sculptures, this will be much harder since they are spread out over 24 locations. The 51 Murals were spread out over 13 locations.
