An excuse to drink beer? None needed! But now you have this one.
Port City Brewing Company is hosting their third annual Port to Port Beer Festival on Saturday, August 8th!
With the price of admission, you’ll get a commemorative 5 oz. glass and unlimited pours. The Tasting Room and outdoor Beer Garden will remain open to the public for regular business, but you need a ticket to get the festival beers.
Why this beer festival? A trip across the river? Yes, the perfect excuse to get back over to Port City Brewing, one of the best local breweries. This year they’ll have 21 breweries, including five from DC (see list below). There will also be yard games, a DJ, and the resident taco stand from La Tingeria (their shrimp tacos are legit!).
The best reason is always the beer! Port City Brewing will also release their newest collaboration: WitFerrari. This is first ever collaboration between Port City and Richmond’s The Veil. A classic pairing and about time. WitFerrari is an American-style Wit that combines the strengths of both breweries – Port City’s Witbier and The Veil’s hazy, hoppy IPAs.
Get your tickets here.
Tickets are $50 (early bird until 8/3; $60 after) for unlimited pours. 12pm-4pm
