Snallygaster 2025 is nearly here. Below are some highlights and links to the 2025 Snallygaster beer sheets.
Happy Snallygaster Eve! Tomorrow the best beer festival around returns with amazing weather and no rain this year. There will be more than 430 unique beers/ciders, including some of the best beers from around the world. This year, there are again more than 20 beers that are rated above 4.5 on Untappd and a whopping 131 are rated at 4.25 or higher.
The top-rated beer in Untappd appearing at Snallygaster 2025 goes to the Game of Thrones-inspired “A Feast for Crows,” by ill Will (Columbiana, OH). This cheesecake smoothie beer serves as a reminder that winter is coming.
There is no ‘best’ beer tent this year with great beers being spread out pretty evenly. Demogrogon has the highest average rating at 4.18, Kraken has the most beers rated at least 4.25, and Mothra with the most beers at 4.5 or higher.
There’s one new brewery I can’t wait to taste, Alma Mader (Kansas City, MO). They are bringing four beers and all are rated over 4 on Untappd. Their two barrel-aged beers are both incredibly highly rated with the barleywine (Copper Shine 2025) at 4.59 and the stout (Fool’s Lair) at 4.47. Be careful though, both are 14%+!!!
