Snallygaster 2026 is nearly here. Below are some highlights and links to the 2026 Snallygaster beer sheets.
Happy Snallygaster Eve! Tomorrow the best beer festival around returns with amazing weather of 72 degrees and no rain. There will be more than 450 unique beers/ciders, including some of the best beers from around the world. This year, there are again more than 20 beers that are rated above 4.5 on Untappd and a whopping 130 are rated at 4.25 or higher.
The top-rated beer in Untappd appearing at Snallygaster 2026 was brewed exclusively for this event. For the second year in a row ill will (Columbiana, OH) has the highest rated beer on Untappd heading into Snallygaster. Their “Fear the Turtle” was brewed exclusively for this event. If you haven’t had ill will before, they smoothie beers are amazing. This one is frozen BBA smoothie sour with chocolate, caramel, cashews and ice cream. This and other ill will beers can be found in the Cyclops tent. It sounds amazing and I’ve never been more annoyed to be allergic to nuts.
Other top rated beers are from the renowned breweries of:
-Fidens (Medusa tent)
-Mortalis (Kraken)
-Toppling Goliath (Medusa)
This year the Medusa tent has the highest concentration of highly rated beers with any eye-popping average Untappd rating of 4.22 per beer. Fidens, Toppling Goliath, The Veil, Perennial, Sapwood and Bottle Logic are all pouring in this tent and definitely brought this A-game this year.
Two breweries and I can’t wait to try this year are Transcend (Plainville, CT) and TEST (Kings County, NY). Both will be pouring Triple and Double Hazy IPAs. Transcend (Cyclops) will also be have a highly-rated peach pina smoothie beer. While TEST (Mothra) will have a dry-hopped pilsner.
