A concert you shouldn’t miss!
Jade Bird, British singer-songwriter extraordinaire, returns to DC on October 16th, this time at Sixth & I Synagogue.
Jade’s second album, Different Kinds of Light (via Glassnote Records), came out in August. She wrote the songs for the album as she traveled; in New York, Japan, Nashville (where she lives now), and Mexico.
The first single for the album came out in 2020. “Headstart” is a rocking song about sending signals to someone, and maybe they didn’t quite get the message. Yet. There’s still time.
The title track is a languid, regretful look at a relationship on the rocks.
Check out our previous review when she came to DC in 2019. Should be another great show, don’t miss out!
