Triple Brewery Anniversary Weekend (10/16/21)

On Saturday, October 16th three breweries will celebrate anniversaries!

One week after going full tilt into the incredible beer selection at Snallygaster, it may seem prudent to take a break from beer this weekend. But prudence is not our strength, and how often do three (count them, three!) breweries have anniversary parties on the same weekend?

Other Half turns One!

October 16. 10am-Close. No admission fee. A party that includes I Egg You (@ieggu) pop-up, DJs and guest breweries, along with many of Other Half DC’s great beers.

Be on the lookout to buy their All 1st Anniversary Everything Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout (15% ABV) and some other beers they are releasing for the DC location’s 1st Anniversary.

Atlas Brew Works (Ivy City) turns Eight!

October 16. 1-5pm. $15. Admission gets you a beer and a donation to Living Classrooms.

Get your tickets here.

There will be a DJ and of course $1 pie throwing. Throw the pies at Atlas staff and other industry people. See times below.

Atlas’ 8th Anniversary beer is a sour ale with marionberries, Mayor for Life, which will be available on draft and to buy in 750 ML bottles. This is the way. They will also have their 7th Anniversary beer on draft, a double IPA, since there was no party last year.

Astro Lab (Silver Spring) turns Three!

October 16. Three timed sessions available. $15. Admission gets you a Limited Edition Sidereal Year 3 glass and a pint.

Get your tickets here.

They also have a series of anniversary week beer releases, including In Transit an IPA (6.4% ABV) with a blend of hops including Enigma, and raspberries, red currants, citrus zest, peach rings and white grape rounded out by fresh cut, pine resin.
