The food truck party is back!

The 2018 iteration of Truckeroo returns on April 20th down at The Bullpen (next to Nationals Park).

There was a time when I was very fond of seeking about the newest food trucks for lunch during the work week.

Often I’d go to the North Capitol and Massachusetts Ave. location, with 10-14 trucks to choose from most days.

But alas, over the years many of the trucks I enjoyed have closed, and the new crop are often unoriginal or all serving the same thing. (Okay, if every food truck ever only sold tacos that would be acceptable.)

The market got crowded and DC lost interest to large degree.

That’s why I like the tradition of Truckeroo, where you have access to some of the best food trucks still operating in DC, all in one go! And beer!

Hours 4-11pm.
