Hey! The world is coming back into focus, Snallygaster is back for 2021.
Snallygaster returns for its ninth edition on October 9th, in the same locale as 2019, in Downtown DC.
We can expect another amazing lineup of beer, usually in the 400 beer and 150 brewery range.
Check out the beer lineup from Snallygaster 2019 to stoke your interest!
Why this beer festival? It has traditionally been right near the top of beer festivals or events in DC. Although they had to skip the 2020 edition, the Neighborhood Restaurant Group (NRG) brings to life the beer programs at Bluejacket, Churchkey and The Sovereign (opening back up in early July according to DC Beer). And since those are always amazing programs, it stands to reason Snallygaster will continue to excel.
NRG puts a lot of effort into curating rare beers (which is why The Basilisk (VIP) pass is the best option). Otherwise you’ll miss out on many of those hard to get ‘whales’.
Again, as in 2019, there will be a flat entry fee, followed by your ability to sample unlimited beers. Food will cost extra.
Lastly, if working your way through a crazy amount of good beer isn’t enough, Snallygaster is the annual fundraiser for Arcadia, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a more equitable and sustainable local food system in the DC area. So drink beer to help people.
The full Snally Beer List can be found right in the Untappd app, where you can sort and search for beers by brewery or style or popularity, etc.
You can also find a full list on Google Docs.
Get your tickets starting Friday, June 25th at 10am on the website.
