Mark your calendars! A film festival is on the way!
This year’s Maryland Film Festival takes place from April 29th to May 3rd. Just a short hop from DC, the films are shown at various venues around Baltimore, but the hub is the SNF Parkway Theatre.
Submissions closed on January 10th, so we’ll update this post once the final list of films become available.
Why this festival? You like movies, along with the thousands of other avid movie-goers that join every year. With over 50 feature films and 80 shorts, you will certainly find something to suite your interests and moods.
Last year I only saw one movie, South Mountain from the director Hilary Brougher. Because Hilary is a cousin of my friend we chatted with her over coffee afterwards. She has also directed other movies like Stephanie Daley (2006) and The Sticky Fingers of Time (1996).
Be on the look out for the final list of films and show times.

All-Access Passes are $395 (members) and $450 (non-members), but individual passes should be available soon.
