British singer-songwriter, Natasha Khan, will perform at Sixth & I Synagogue on Tuesday, February 18th, bringing her lush dream and synth pop to our fair city!
Known by her stage name as Bat For Lashes, she is touring for her newest album, Lost Girls (via AWAL Recordings), which pays tribute to the nostalgia of childhood and movies growing up.
“Kids In The Dark” is a wistful, melodic journey about the experiences of young love; forbidden love in fact with the video giving a nod to vampire movies. “So Good” is a great synth-pop track, full of urgency and over-the-top beats and pulses from Natasha’s keyboard.
This is her fifth full length album, and she’s been performing as Bat for Lashes since 2006.
Natasha’s shows on this tour will be focused on the vocals, synth, and piano; perfectly attuned to the intimate space of Sixth and I.
