Looking for that spark of music to fill your Valentine’s Day void?
Your indie pop, money grabber friends, Fitz and The Tantrums, will grace DC at The Anthem on February 14th, while touring for their newest album, All The Feels. The Wharf is full of good restaurants for your dinner and a concert date plans, or just go to the concert.
The title track is the fourth single from their fourth album, about dealing with your circumstances and trying to overcome, yet remaining positive and encouraging to others. You will wanna feel a little more. Other singles are “123456” and the funky “I Just Wanna Shine”, a hopeful, airy plea for positivity.
The band started in LA in 2008, and is robust; with Michael Fitzpatrick on vocals, along with Noelle Scaggs (vocals and percussion), James King (guitar, saxophone and much more), Joseph Karnes (bass guitar), Jeremy Ruzumna (keyboards) and John Wicks (drums). The Anthem’s stage is huge, and it will need to be.
Should be a fun time!
