Celebrate your extra day in 2020, by heading over to Songbyrd Music House to catch the electronic rock band, KOPPS, opening for Roses & Revolutions on February 29th!
KOPPS’ songs are energetic and danceable, many of the components one needs for elite-level Leap Day shenanigans.
“Get Juicy” is about orange juice, and other things you can guess at, and the band describes it as ‘blatantly and shamelessly sexy’. Indeed.
“Dumb”, from 2015, is one of their bigger hits, with over 2 million Spotify plays, and breaks down into frantic trance-like beats.
KOPPS may not conform to a specific genre easily, but they are bold and experimental by nature, more reasons to join them on Leap Day. The band is from Rochester, NY and is comprised of Patricia Patrón (vocals, percussion), Kyle O’Hara (bass) and Travis Johansen (guitar). They have also collaborated with fellow Rochester band, Joywave, for the song “Tongues”.
Get your tickets here.
Tickets are $10. Doors open at Songbyrd Music House at 7pm. Show at 8pm. Headliner is Roses & Revolutions.
