It’s never too early to plan for a beer festival, right?
If you love IPAs and hoppy profiles in your beer, the annual HopFest hosted by the DC Brewers’ Guild and held at DC Brau is the right beer festival for you. The sixth annual version will take place on Saturday, March 14th. Start planning.

Why this beer festival? It is as local as they get. Held at a participating DC brewery, with beers from your favorite breweries in DC, VA and MD. Also, last year they had the Bigger Cat (Triple IPA) by Ocelot Brewing Company. So fricking good. A lot of great beers were served last year, it will be hard to top that lineup. But I have a feeling they might.
They also include rare beers and beers brewed just for this year’s HopFest. And unlimited pours. I managed 19 samples last year.
