Weird facts and comedy!

The podcast No Such Thing as a Fish will have a live taping at the Terrace Theater in The Kennedy Center on Sunday, November 10th.

This will be their first tour of live tapings, and The Kennedy Center show will be the fifth and final one. Tickets are going fast.

Their shtick is to talk about strange and weird facts. The comedy podcast started in 2014 when when researchers for the beloved BBC TV panel show QI (an abbreviation for “Quite Interesting”) found themselves overwhelmed with bizarre, amusing and extraordinary facts unearthed in the course of their quiz show production jobs.

So why not start a humorous podcast? The creators and hosts are Dan Schreiber, James Harkin, Anna Ptaszynski and Andrew Hunter Murray. They’ve almost reached 300 episodes, and the is consistently among the iTunes most downloaded podcasts.

They also have three books, including their new book, The Book of the Year 2019. (Note: I just added it to me list of books to read.)

Looks like a fun experience. Even if you can’t make it to the live taping, give the podcast a listen. Or read the books! Check their website for options.

Check your tickets here. (Note: Very limited seats left!)

Tickets are $35. Show at Kennedy Center at 7pm. Should last for 1-1/4 hours.
