Wiener dog enthusiasts rejoice!
The Wiener 500 is back for the eight time on September 21st, this time with even longer wieners (presumably).
Enter your dachshund to race or just sit back and watch the glory unfold, all while hoisting an Oktoberfest beer to the dulcet sounds of padding dog feet and other good music.
Why this race? Seriously? It’s wieners.
This year the race has moved to The Wharf, so you can get a little cool river breeze.
Proceeds to enter the race will benefit the Humane Rescue Alliance.
