Love beer? Drink The Veil.
On Saturday, August 10th The Veil Brewing Co. will bring their fine beer wares all the way from Richmond for a pop-up at The Bruery DC and Dock 5 near Union Market.
There will be cans and drafts, as well as brewery swag to buy, like shirts and glasses.
I had the chance to visit The Veil Brewing last year, and was impressed by my delicious beer tasting session. I especially enjoyed the Maple Whangdoodle (Imperial Stout, ABV 11.5% (My Untappd Rating: 4.50) and the Astro Thunder (Imperial IPA, ABV 8%) (4.25). I’m not saying I drank too much (I did visit other breweries that evening), but I will say I wanted to. My first experience of Veil’s beers was at Snallygaster, just a month earlier. Don’t sleep on the Never Never Calm Calm (Sour Gose, ABV 5.1%) (4.50).
They will drop the can and draft list soon, but mark your calendars and definitely go!
