Memorial Day Weekend is looking good, head over to the Black Cat for a sweet round of indie pop.

Amber Bain, aka The Japanese House, will join DC, performing a concert we can look forward to at the Black Cat on Saturday, May 25th.

She of multi-talents; singer, songwriter, producer, keyboardist, guitarist and surely much more, has just released her first full album, Good at Falling, after releasing four EPs since 2015.

From Buckinghamshire, England, Amber captures her born in the 1990’s roots, as a perceived outsider and using a singular life experience as inspiration for a stage name, in a dream and electropop like quality.

Her beautiful single “Lilo” speaks to mundane moments of living with someone, the right someone, and how we should not neglect the simple things that connect us.

You’ll enjoy staying in DC, especially if you get yourself to the Black Cat.

Buy your tickets here.

Tickets are $22. Doors open at the Black Cat at 8pm. Opener is Art School Girlfriend.
