Do This: European Union Embassies Open House Tour (5/11/19)

EU Open House

Visit the Embassies!

The annual Open House tour of the European Union Embassies is on May 11th, and if you haven’t yet been, it’s time.

Organized by Cultural Tourism DC, the Embassies of the European Union Member States will open their doors to the public from 10 am until 4 pm, offering a rare look inside the buildings. It’s a cool opportunity to experience that country’s cultural heritage and national traditions.

For example, Malta will take you back in time to World War II (1938-1942), to see how the heroism and perseverance of Malta connects with their relations to the U.S. As FDR once said, “They were a beacon of hope.”

Find the activities for each Embassy here.

Entry to the embassies is typically free, sometimes there is a cost for food or drink.

From 10am-4pm.
