Free entrance to all units managed by the National Park Service on April 20th!
If you want to visit one of our many National Parks for free, April 20-28 is just want you need as National Park Week.
Find your park.
Obviously try to check out Shenandoah National Park, as the closest official ‘National Park’ to DC. But there are plenty of other units managed by the National Park Service in or near DC that you can check out, most are already free.
Also, don’t just visit, help out! Find ways to volunteer.
