It’s 2019, let’s rock!
Touring for The Freedom Tour, Dorothy returns to rock DC on February 12th at the 9:30 Club.
The blues rock band is fronted by Dorothy Martin on vocals, and they formed in Los Angeles in 2014. They’ve made it to DC a few times, including as an opener of The Struts in 2016 (which I had the pleasure to witness).
Besides Dorothy, the band is Jason Ganberg (drums), Owen Barry (guitar), Eli Wulfmeier (guitar), and Eliot Lorango (bass).
They released their second album, 28 Days in the Valley, back in March 2018.
The first single, “Flawless”, is a slow-moving blues anthem that looks at redemption when ‘coming out of the darkness’ of a relationship.
