Winterfest @ Wunder Garten (from 11/30-12/16/18)
Starting November 30th, for three weekends (Friday-Sunday) at Wunder Garten in NoMa, you can visit the Holiday Market pop-up, with local vendors and other fun things like DJs and Ugly Sweater contests. Plus it’s also great to get out and support your local businesses and artisans. See all the vendors here.
Grand Opening @ Punch Bowl Social Arlington (12/8/18)
A new location for the games, food and beverage concept is opening soon, and you can celebrate at their Arlington location’s grand opening on December 8th. The $20 fee benefits the local charity So Others Might Eat, and gets you free food and drinks, while enjoying live music. Buy your tickets here.
Punch Bowl Social’s decor should be amazing, plus it has bowling, huge board games, ping pong, an arcade, bocce, billiards and more. Food-wise check out such craziness as a Fried Bologna Sandwich or go for the robust Chicken-n-Waffles and Green Chorizo Fries.
Ugly Sweater Party @ Across the Pond Restaurant & Pub (12/15/18)
Across the Pond is a sports bar that has been open for a year or so, and if you haven’t been, why not use an Ugly Sweater contest as a good excuse? On Saturday, December 15th, win prizes for the best ugly sweater.
They will also have New Year’s Eve parties, but if you can’t make those, they usually have live music on Fridays (and $6 Guinness), and Happy Hour beers ($3-5) and $5 apps on weekdays between 4-8pm.
