Local band alert at the Black Cat!
Head over to the Cat on November 30th, for Washington, DC’s very own Flasher.
They released their first EP only in 2016, so they’re still shiny and new, but yet so good.
Their latest album is Constant Image. Singles like, “Who’s Got Time” and “Skim Milk” are infectious post-punk songs that get right in your head and don’t let go until you use a head nod or two to shake them loose.
Flasher is Taylor Mulitz (guitar), Daniel Saperstein (bass) and Emma Baker (drums). In addition, Taylor helps run the Sister Polygon label (with his former band mates from another DC band, Priests).
Check out their fine performance on KEXP in September (below).
And get busy buying your tickets here.
Tickets are $15. Doors open at the Black Cat at 8pm. Openers are Public Practice and Gong Gong Gong.
