Are you ready for Alice?

Alice Merton plays for DC at the U Street Music Hall on October 17th.

Alice was born in Germany and moved to Ontario, Canada as a child before returning to Germany at 13, and just kept moving around after.

Hence the origin of her break out song “No Roots”. It may toe the line between indie rock and pop, but at its heart it proves to be a bass-driven anthem that is good, yet made great by Alice’s deep and rich voice.

“Lash Out” is her latest single, and starts with a blues rock vibe and morphs into a pop dance hook about holding anger inside.

Her first album, Mint, should come out in 2019.

Find your tickets on the resale sites!

The $20 tickets are sold out! Doors open at U Street Music Hall at 7pm. Foreign Air is the opener.
