If you’re looking for a reason to head over to H Street NE, we have one…
…come see Courtney Marie Andrews perform her brilliant country slash Americana slash folk rock ditties at the Rock and Roll Hotel on September 20th.
From Phoenix, Courtney released her six album in March, titled May Your Kindness Remain. Many of the songs speak to the ‘impact of the unrealistic picture of success that is so embedded in modern American culture’, which she wrote in the course of touring around the US (and elsewhere) throughout 2017.
Some have likened her style and voice to that of Linda Ronstadt, and that’s a fairly lofty comparison. In 2010, she also briefly acted as a complementary member of Jimmy Eat World, mostly for keyboards and backing vocals.
The song “Kindness of Strangers”, aside from the sentiment, is a bit of rock, a bit of country and a lot of good.
Get your tickets here.

I’m not sure if they have a restriction on buying from other countries, best to contact Ticketfly to confirm. Yes, they do have e-tickets, or Will Call is an option. cheers
