Free ice cream!!
Head over to Neal Place at Union Market for the DC Scoop ice cream social on Friday, July 13th.
This is the eighth annual DC Scoop, but gone for 2018 is the competition element. Now it’s just straight eating ice cream.
Forget that it’s Friday the 13th, free scoops are available from Trickling Springs Creamery, Ice Cream Jubilee, Love n’ Faith (who won the competition last year) and Dolcezza Gelato. Then head over to the epic toppings bar created by Windows Catering.
You can buy more frozen treats like gelato, ice cream sandwiches, popsicles, or soda shoppe-style scoops from the likes of Puddin’, Bun’d Up, Toli Moli, and Suburbia in Union Market.
And DJ Bast + Native Nebula will be rocking the beats for the evening.
