The Anthem is sold out for their May 1st show, and that’s always impressive. Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim will grace DC on tour supporting their second album, Something To Tell You, after their first album was a great success, reaching the #6 spot on Billboard’s Top 200 (and #1 in the UK). Something To Tell You has reached #7.
Coming from Los Angeles, the three sisters have been playing their syncopated brand of indie rock and pop together since 2007, and they finally made it real by releasing Days Are Gone in 2013.
The singles from Something To Tell You, “Want You Back” and “Little of Your Love”, have a similar sound and mood to songs in the first album, about relationships and love and regret and the messiness of life. And that’s a good thing.
