Brandon Flowers and The Killers are back in DC for a hot fuss which will surely prove to be a wonderful, wonderful show.
And wouldn’t you know it, The Killers just released a new album in September, their fifth, called Wonderful Wonderful.
One of the singles is “Run For Cover”, a throwback to their songs of yore like “Humans”.
The first single “The Man”, is a song with disco ambitions.
My one and only chance to see The Killers was at the first Firefly Music Festival (2012), and that show was spectacular with fireworks and dancing and great music.
DC101 presents this show at The Anthem, and if you haven’t made it down there, this is the perfect show for the venue. Rocking out with all your neighbors.
The show is sold out, but head over to the resale sites because this will be an epic time.
Tickets were $80.25 – $200. Doors at The Anthem open at 6:30pm. Show at 8pm. The opener is Alex Cameron (who we caught at Songbyrd earlier this year. Read the review.)
