Bully, a punk rock band out of Nashville, descends on DC on Wednesday, Nov. 15th.

Boasting their second album since they formed in 2013, Bully is an apt moniker, as the lyrics and waves of sound bull you over without mercy.

The album is titled Losing (via Sub Pop), and after a listen of many of the songs, it’s fair to say the name is a misnomer for the listeners. No one loses. But it is loaded with heavy songs of self-doubt and protest.

Alicia Bognanno fronts the band, and includes Stewart Copeland (drums), Clayton Parker (guitar), and Reece Lazarus (bass).

The single “Kills to Be Resistant” highlights Alicia’s gravely voice, and trends more towards an indie pop feel than some of their other songs.

This is a show you don’t want to miss!

Get your tickets here.

Tickets are $18. Doors open a U Street Music Hall at 7pm. Opener is Aye Nako.
