The Lone Bellow brings the stormiest Americana music to DC for two nights in November!
From Brooklyn, New York The Lone Bellow formed in 2011 and they are now touring for their third album, Walk Into A Storm, which was released in September.
For the new single “Time’s Always Leaving”, the clever video follows a man silly walking through town (harkening back to Christopher Walken’s brilliant dance journey in Flatboy Slim’s “Weapon of Choice” video).
The Lone Bellow is Zach Williams (vocals, guitar), Kanene Donehey Pipkin (mandolin, bass) and Brian Elmquist (guitar).
At its core, the band imbues emotion and longing in their music and lyrics. Often melancholy or soulful, the songs do yet have a power to build to an uplifting chorus.
All that to say, you need to experience their music first hand, and not rely on words to tell you how to feel.
