Alex Lahey is traveling all the way from Melbourne to rock you DC! Get on board.

Alex’s debut album, I Love You Like A Brother, seems to mix between pure pop and fuzzy rock, but mostly it’s a great album about break-ups and taking care of yourself and holding on and not taking shit from anyone.

“Every Day’s The Weekend” head nods its way around how it’s always great to be around her partner, so don’t leave.

In “I Haven’t Been Taking Care of Myself” she again emotes about wanting someone to stay, ‘you are my drug…nothings ever boring.’

A theme is emerging, and every track of the album is a new way to explore it.
