The next couple months are looking mighty fine for music in DC. Mighty fine indeed.

In fact, my concert plans for October may have gotten out of hand! I have at least 15 shows I’ve noted so far. I won’t make it to all of them, but we can always aspire.

Don’t stay in, get ready to hit the town. Here are the concerts I’m most looking forward to over the next two months. And excited to finally see Queens of the Stone Age!

Depeche Mode @ Capital One Arena (9/7/17) Note: I don’t think I’ll be going, but would like to see them live.

Paramore @ The Theater at MGM National Harbor (9/13/17) Sneak Peek

Arcade Fire @ Capital One Arena (9/16/17) Sneak Peek

Broken Social Scene @ 9:30 Club (9/19 & 9/20/17) Note: I’m very curious indeed to see this super group live. Concert Review

VÉRITÉ @ Rock and Roll Hotel (9/21/17) Sneak Peek

Oh Wonder @ 9:30 Club (10/2 & 10/3/17) Sneak Peek

Alvvays @ Rock and Roll Hotel (10/7 & 10/8/17) Concert Review

Lisa Loeb @ Strathmore (10/8/17) Note: I saw her in 1998. Going for nostalgia!

PVRIS @ 9:30 Club (10/16/17) Note: I saw them twice at 2016’s Firefly Music Festival, and they were among my favorites of the festival.

LCD Soundsystem @ The Anthem (10/17/17) Note: Will be my first look at the brand new The Anthem and my first LCD Soundsystem concert. Stoked!

Okay, I lied about only listing 10. Five more! Who’s ready?

Queens of the Stone Age w/Royal Blood @ The Anthem (10/20/17) Note: #1 most excited about this show! #1 best! I also saw Royal Blood’s killer show at the 9:30 Club earlier this year.

The War on Drugs @ The Anthem (10/23/17) Note: Very interested in this as their new album sounds pretty good. Sneak Peek

Yumi Zouma @ U Street Music Hall (10/24/17) Note: I saw them last year at DC9 and had to put their show in my top concerts of the year! Concert Review

The Head and the Heart @ The Anthem (10/27/17) Note: I’ve seen them twice, so this could be where The Anthem fatigue sets in. Concert Review

Anna Nalick @ Jammin Java (10/29/17) Note: I always like the song “Breathe (2 AM)” and surprisingly I’ve never made it to Jammin Java! Sneak Peek
