This week, the Brewers Association is descending on DC for their annual Craft Brewers Conference (CBC).
The public can’t go to the conference, but around the city there are so many tap takeovers and tastings to get on board with, you won’t be disappointed. Here is just a sampling of events that look very intriguing to me.
Monday, April 10th
Dogfish Head Record Store Day @ Lost and Found
From 6-9pm, get your Dogfish Head beers along with giveaways – like Firefly Music Festival tickets.
Tuesday, April 11th
Schlafly Tap Takeover @ The Brig
Starting at 5pm, their master brewers will pour six Schlafly (from St. Louis, MO) beers. (Kolsch, Summer Lager, White Lager, Grapefruit IPA, Hoppy Wheat Ale, Dry-Hopped APA)
Wednesday, April 12th
Fremont Brewing & Crooked Stave @ Meridian Pint
Starting at 5pm, both Fremont (Seattle, WA) and Crooked Stave (Denver, CO) are teaming up to bring you a healthy number of stouts and ales, including the Fremont Coffee Cinnamon B-Bomb. You want it.

Starting at 4pm, Great Raft Brewing (Shreveport, LA) will have 6 drafts, plus a collaboration beer with Bluejacket called It’s Me, Not You (a Pale Ale).
Thursday, April 13th
The Gang’s All Here @ 3 Stars Brewing
From 5-10pm, 3 Stars will host a mini-festival ($15), if you will, with many collaboration beers between 3 Stars and other breweries from around the country, like Other Half (NY), Ocelot (VA), J. Wakefield (FL), Charm City Meadworks (MD), Modern Times (CA) and Aslin (VA).
