Do This: Snallygaster 2022 (10/8/22) (Tickets on Sale 8/1/22)

Snallygaster celebrates its 10th Edition Anniversary in 2022!

Good news and bad news. The good news, the greatest beer festival in DC is returning for its 10th iteration! The bad news, you have to wait until October 8th.

Last year’s edition saw an amazing 430 beers from about 150 breweries, and there’s no reason to expect anything less this year. With standout beers from last year like Medusa (Passion Fruit + Dragon Fruit) by Mortalis Brewing Company (5.0% ABV), Socratic Questioning #24 IPA by Fidens Brewing Co. (8.0% ABV), or Apple Brandy Toast-E Coilz Stout by The Veil Brewing Co. (12.0% ABV), it’s difficult to imagine being any more excited about a day of drinking beer. Don’t worry, every type of beer is on offer, not just the IPAs, stouts and sours.

Why this beer festival? It is the best beer festival in DC. The Neighborhood Restaurant Group (NRG) brings to life the excellent beer programs at Bluejacket, Churchkey and The Sovereign. NRG puts a lot of effort into curating the Snally beer list, including many rare options.

It is held along Pennsylvania Ave NW (between 3rd and 7th) and you pay a flat fee, with all you can drink beer samples included. Food does cost extra.

Snallygaster is also the annual fundraiser for Arcadia, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a more equitable and sustainable local food system in the DC area. Help people by drinking beer? Obviously.

Get your tickets starting Monday, August 1st at 10am on the Snally website.

The Basilisk (VIP) pass is $130 (12pm Entry w/unlimited tastings).

The Kraken (General Admission) is $65 (2pm Entry w/unlimited tastings).
