If you’re hitting The 1975 concert, go early!
The indie rock/pop band Pale Waves will open for the sold out The 1975 show on May 21st at The Anthem.
From Manchester, England, Pale Waves started in 2014 with demos and lineup changes, before finally releasing their first single in 2017. They are touring for their first full album, My Mind Makes Noises.
Heather Baron-Gracie on vocals (and often Goth attire) and Ciara Doran on drums formed the band, and were later joined by Hugo Silvani (guitar and keyboard) and Charlie Wood (bass and keyboard), who replaced the other two original members in 2015.
A recent single, “Eighteen”, is a jaunty pop song about the emotional roller coaster of young, new love.
The show is sold out, but do try the Ticket Exchange here.
Show is Sold Out. Doors open at The Anthem at 5:30pm. Show at 7pm. Opening for The 1975.
