DC will get electric when the sounds of London’s HÆLOS drops in April.

HÆLOS will play their incredible electronic, trip hop beats at U Street Music Hall on Saturday, April 6th, and you should really be there.

They are touring for their second album, Any Random Kindness, to be released on May 10th.

The first single “Buried In The Sand” is an ambient electronic track with discordant hooks, highlighted by Lotti Benardout’s yearning vocals.

Another new single “Boy / Girl”, is an almost breathless call and response banger, where the vocals drop in between drums, keyboards and a haunting voice whispering in the background.

HÆLOS started out in 2014 in London to critical acclaim, and their first album Full Circle made to my listening rotation. The current members are Arthur Delaney, Lotti Benardout, Dom Goldsmith and Daniel Vildosola.

Go to this show, at least that’s how we feel.

Get your tickets here.

Tickets are $20. Doors open at U Street Music Hall at 7pm. No opener listed.
