U Street Music Hall will play host to the Los Angeles garage/indie rock band, Cherry Glazerr.
They will perform on February 13th, while touring for their third album Stuffed & Ready, which came out a few days ago. Clementine Creevy (lead vocals and guitar) says about the album, “In Stuffed & Ready, I’m a much more weary and perhaps cynical woman who believes you need to figure your own self out first.” They were also featured in Rolling Stone earlier this year.
The first single, “Juicy Socks”, is a low-key pop rock tune, about not wanting to hurt anyone, but still needing to. “Wasted Nun” gets into the pain we inflict on ourselves, and has the rock formula of switching between whispered, vulnerable lyrics and shouting to the world above a driving bass line that bands like Wolf Alice excel at.
Aside from Clementine, the 3-piece band is Tabor Allen (drums) and Devin O’Brien (bass).
This should be a rocking good time, so why not join?
