Time for an early visit to DC9, to see the indie pop band joan.

They will be one of the openers for the indie, electro pop band, half•alive, performing on January 22nd, so do get there early.

joan is the Arkansas duo of Alan Thomas and Steven Rutherford, that formed just a short time ago in 2017.

Their EP is titled portra (released via Snafu Records), and the six songs, like “Take Me On” and “Love Somebody Like You”, are bright, effusive pop songs, and make you feel good about love.

Tickets are sold out, but you can request a ticket here, or try the fan exchange option. Or find a friend that has an extra ticket.

Doors open at DC9 at 7:30pm. Show at 8pm. Headliner is half•alive. Additional opener is Austin Prince.
