The four troublemakers of Born Ruffians return to DC!

On Saturday, December 15th, head over to DC9 for their first show in DC since 2016, and maybe their first at DC9.

The Canadian indie rockers are touring for their fifth album, Uncle, Duke & The Chief. Born Ruffians formed in 2004, and comprises Luke Lalonde on vocals and guitar, Mitch Derosier on bass, Andy Lloyd on guitar, and Steve Hamelin on drums.

Their three-act set of singles kicks off our introduction to the album. “Love Too Soon” is slow and contemplative and gives Luke a chance to croon wistfully. “Forget Me” and “Miss You” are more upbeat, but sad songs speaking to loss and staying together.

I’ve seen them live three times so far, and highly recommend you not miss their high energy show!!

Get your tickets here.

Tickets are $15. Doors at the DC9 open at 7pm. Show at 7:30pm. No opener listed.
