The fourth annual Smithsonian Food History Weekend Festival is coming in November!
There’s a lot to do, including live cooking demonstrations, talks, hands-on activities, book signings, Deep Dish Dialogues, Punjabi-Mexican Dance and plenty more.
You can’t do food tastings at this food festival, since it’s about history and learning, but there will be food for sale in the cafe/cafeteria.
Find the schedule of the live cooking demonstrations and other activities here.
And you can join the opening Gala on November 1st or the Last Call event ($45) on November 3rd, which includes beer tastings from US breweries and conversations with brewers.
Festival is free; food/drink will cost, along with the special events. 10am-5:30pm
