Herndon’s popular Aslin Beer Company is celebrating their 3rd anniversary with an event at ChurchKey in DC tonight and a big festival in Herndon on Saturday.
ChurchKey – The Aslin 3 Year Anniversary Pre-Party – Thursday, 9/13
There will be beers from nearly 15 fantastic American craft breweries pouring tonight to celebrate Aslin. Most of the participating breweries are out-of-market, so this is a rare chance to have some of these beers. In fact, of the 31 announced beers for the event, 25 of them have an Untappd rating of 4 or higher. Leading the way with two IPAs is Narrow Gauge from St. Louis with King Fallen Flag and DDH OJ Run. Both are rated over 4.44. Some of the other top rated beers include Hop Wave 2 by Equilibrium Brewery from Middletown, NY; Stained Glass Ceilings from Dancing Gnome Brewery from Pittsburgh, PA; and the collaboration Moves Like Jaggery from Southern Grist Brewing from Nashville, TN and J. Wakefield Brewing from Miami. There are a lot of IPAs on the list, but there are also some stouts and sours. The event starts when ChurchKey opens at 4 pm.
