Let’s be honest. A 25-4 drubbing of the Mets feels good.

Even a Bryce Harper win in the Home Run Derby feels good.

The Nationals need more of all that, and soon, if they’re going to contend for a playoff spot.

Get out to Nationals Park and cheer them on, they need us fans now more than ever.

And on Friday, August 3rd they have their LAST bobblehead giveaway.

This time is Anthony Rendon. The first 25,000 get to shake their very own Rendon bobble.

As of today the Nats are sitting at .500 (53-53), 5-1/2 games behind the Phillies (!!!!) for 1st place. They are also 5 games out of a Wild Card spot, with a lot of teams ahead of them.

Gio Gonzalez should be pitching for the Nats on Friday. This season he’s 6-7 with a 3.78 ERA and 103 strikeouts. He’s had a couple bad months in June and July, so time for a turnaround.

In addition on August 3rd:
* Scott Kurt & Memphis 59 perform at the Budweiser Terrance starting at 5pm.
* It’s also college day with Virginia Tech. Your ticket includes a co-branded hat. Tickets for VT.
* If you check in with the Ballpark App, you can save 20% on certain games in August.

Get your tickets here.

Tickets start at $15 and up. Game at 7:05pm at Nationals Park.
