Spend the rest of April with films!

The 32nd Annual DC International Film Festival (stylized as Filmfest DC) comes to a few locations in DC from April 19 through April 29.

The 2018 edition will feature 80 films from 45 countries. See the full list of films here.

The festival is a way for ‘recognized filmmakers to show their work and for new voices to express themselves. It is one of Washington’s signature cultural events.’

In addition, every year the Circle Award is given to one film that deserves recognition (the best of best of this year’s films). The competition is judged by a jury of film professionals. The films vying for the 2018 Circle Award are:

* Black Kite (Afghanistan, Canada)
* Giant (Spain)
* The Guilty (Denmark)
* A Man of Integrity (Iran)
* A Season in France (France)
* Wajib (Palestine, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Colombia, France, Germany, Norway)
