Lucius will grace DC with a sold out acoustic show!
Lucius, an indie pop band originally from New York City, will perform at the Lincoln Theatre on March 23rd.
They are touring for their newest album, NUDES, that came out in early March on Mom + Pop Music. The album is a collection of songs chosen specifically to showcase their ‘soulful, powerful voices and gorgeous harmonies’. It has three new songs, four new compositions from their back catalog (including their two previous studio albums) and three covers. One such cover is a Leadbelly song, “Goodnight, Irene”, with Roger Waters. Another is Gerry Rafferty’s brilliant “Right Down the Line”.
One of the three new songs, “Neighbors”, is the perfect showcase for Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig’s vocal harmonies, and will certainly go over well acoustically in Lincoln Theatre.
The full band is Jess and Holly (vocals), Dan Molad (drums) and Peter Lalish (guitar).
Don’t miss out, even though it’s sold out!
Tickets were $35 but Sold Out (get creative!). Doors at Lincoln Theatre open at 6:30. Show at 7pm. Opener is Ethan Gruska.
