The Fedoryka siblings return for their annual Thanksgiving show!
Your favorite local band, Scythian, plays at The Hamilton on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 25th.
I’ve seen them perform live too many times to count (at Fado or Finn MacCool’s), but sadly I’ll be out-of-town for this show. That doesn’t mean you should miss it!
Scythian is currently composed of Alexander, Danylo and Larissa Fedoryka, along with Nolan Ladewski and Fritz McGirr. Their last album, Old Tin Can, came out in 2015.
They do a rather energetic live show of Celtic and Eastern European traditions, plus hints of local Appalachian music.
Here’s hoping they play some of my personal favorites like “Hey Mama Ya” and “Galway Girl”!

Tickets are $22 ($27 seated). Doors open at The Hamilton at 6:30pm. Show at 8pm. Opener is Forlorn Strangers.
