Broken Social Scene, the massive indie rock band from Toronto, is playing in DC for two nights!

All the peoples. Formed by Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning, the band has quite an impressive lineup. When you get every member on stage at once, it’s a treat for all the senses.

For example, for vocals and backing vocals, you’ve got such talent as Leslie Feist (known as Feist), Emily Haines from Metric, Amy Milan from Stars, Elizabeth Powell of Land of Talk, and more.

Their fifth album, Hug of Thunder, came out in July of this year. This is their first new album in seven years.

“Halfway Home” is the first single from the new album, and is a feisty, harmonious song that hugs you close and won’t let go.

First night is sold out! Get your tickets to the second night here.

Tickets are $36. Doors open at the 9:30 Club at 7pm. Belle Game is the opener for both nights.
