Netflix’s reboot of Mystery Science Theater 3000 is pretty great. If you’ve already binge watched all 14 episodes, is there any better way to keep the magic alive then to see the cast riffing on bad movies in person at The Lincoln Theatre on July 9th?
This will be the first time MST3K has done a live tour, and you should be buying tickets now!
They are performing two separate shows, in the first they will do a new set of jokes for the movie Eegah (one of the 14 episodes) and a second show directly afterwards for a surprise movie. One they have never lampooned before.
The creator and first host, Joel Hodgson, will be there, along with the new host Jonah Ray. Of course, Tom Servo, Crow and Gypsy will be on hand spewing snarkiness (with their new voice actors). Also the villains of the reboot, Patton Oswalt and Felicia Day, will appear via remote video (keeping with the theme of the show).
Spoiler Alert! Tom Servo can fly in the new MST3K! I want to see if they can work that in.
